Colin Furness is an infection control epidemiologist, and has spent the bulk of his work developing tools that track the spread of infectious diseases and he currently works at the University of Toronto as an assistant professor at the faculty of information.
He joins us in this episode to speak on Covid 19, what its potential “ugly” third wave looks like, and the future of how Toronto and the world will and should deal with this disease. We go local to global in our exploration of this topic, infection spread, opening of schools, and more.
It’s a great show and informative on the new variants of Covid-19 and what to expect with society opening up.
It’s a long overdue discussion on Lockdown Toronto and a great listen. Enjoy.
